Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee Begins RDU Terminal 1 Renovations

(From the Triangle Business Journal story by Chris Baysden – April 25, 2012) Raleigh-Durham International Airport, which opened its $570 million Terminal 2 project earlier this year, currently is working on a facelift of Terminal 1. While, with its price tag of less than $100 million, the Terminal 1 renovation is much less elaborate than the Terminal 2 reconstruction, noticeable changes will be taking place at the older of the RDU terminals.

Members of RDU’s governing Airport Authority got a sneak peek at what some of those changes would look like. Here’s a look at the conceptual renderings, done by Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee PA, shown to the Airport Authority at their meeting April 21.
