Michael Wagner Presents Project at 2010 Critical Mass Symposium

Michael D. Wagner, an intern at Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee, presented his graduate thesis project “Occupiable Facades” at Critical Mass, the 2010 University of North Carolina – Charlotte symposium. Among the guest reviewers at the April 9 event were distinguished practitioners Marlon Blackwell, Coleman Coker and Bryan Bell.

Michael’s project, a 73,000 square foot transit station, library and retail spaces, was a vehicle to explore the idea of the facade as occupiable, programmed space that enriches both the architecture as well as the public room of the street.
